Shutter Speed: 1/4 of a Second
It is certainly easier to take good photos at Yosemite National Park than many other locations in the world. Yosemite is one of the most beautiful places on earth. However, you can always improve your photos. Here are a couple of tips that I used in this photo. I used the Merced River as the foreground for this photo. I selected a slow shutter speed to give the water a blur and give the impression of movement. The water also reflects the colors of El Capitan and the trees, adding interest to the photo.
