The Racetrack Playa in Death Valley National Park is a dry lake bed known for its sailing rocks that leave trails in the dry lake bed. No one has ever seen the rocks move or knows for sure what causes them to move. The Grandstand is a dark rock island at one end of the Racetrack Playa that looks like a grandstand for watching the sailing rocks.
