I just wanted to post a blog post of our one-day trip through Yellowstone. We were able to see everything we wanted, and I felt that it might help some other people as well:

I read a story about some people came upon a baby bison and put the animal in the back of their SUV. The park rangers decided to put the animal down because they couldn't reunite the animal with the herd. Not sure why the Rangers did that. We have tons of animal rescues and Zoos in this country. A simple Google search would have kept the bison alive. I think the Rangers just wanted to prove a point.

Some of the photography from those sites is amazing. But then again, it would be difficult to make Yellowstone look anything less than spectacular.

I live about an hour away from Yellowstone and go as often as possible! This was a great post and I would suggest this 7 day trip to anyone going to the Jackson Hole and Yellowstone! I will say this – There are still so many things that you should see if you have the time! For example, when exploring mammoth hot springs, take a short drive north to the Gardiner Entrance where you will get to see the Roosevelt Arch! It is really cool and you can get some iconic family pictures! Here is a article I wrote about the arch I think you will find it interesting!
